Down the stairs, head over heels.
I've forgotten what it's like to fall.
The leaves, out of the trees, onto the ground to carpet the floor and cushion your descent.
Out of touch with the right people and in line with the wrong ones.
Into nowhere, nothingness.
Into the beyond.
Scrape your knees on the past, reeling into the future.
Half-assed. Let go. Into a pile of leaves.
Who is going to break your fall?
No one, nothing, somebody.
Your angel in disguise, who fell from the sky.
Fight the power, down with the establishment.
Let's bring down these motherfucking walls.
Bury them deep in the ocean.
Down, down, to nowhere.
The rain drops on my head.
To your knees.
How have I fallen this far?
Out of control, scream, echoing into nowhere, until there's nothing.
Scrape your knees and get back up again.
The sky, to dusk, slips away.
Relinquish control. Freestyle.
Get back up and do it all over again.
